I recently found out about an opportunity from TOMS Shoes to apply for an internship at their headquarters in LA to learn about the business side of their company and then to go on a giving trip. I'm very interested in learning more about their idea of social entrepreneurship, their one-for-one business model and how giving works on their side, after having experienced it on this side.
It's not your typical application. I had to submit a 1 minute video about why I wanted to be TOMS next Global Giver (the job title). The video then has to be promoted to the public to gather "likes" and comments. The social media data will be part of what is considered to determine 30 finalists and eventually a winner.
So, I am asking you to help support my video!! The process of liking/commenting on my video is a little more involved than just clicking the "like' button on Facebook. I understand that this requires a little more time, but I would greatly appreciate it. Here are the steps.

2. Click on the "Like This Application" button. It will say "You must be logged in to vote. If you do not have an account, please sign up."
3. Click on "sign up" and fill in the information.
4. When you submit it, it should bring you back to my video.
5. Then like the application. This portion of the application process ends in a few days.
